Tributes
FLORENCE – Harry “Skip” H. Rumble III, 64, died Sunday, May 30, at St. Elizabeth Florence.
He worked for 39 years with ThyssenKrupp Elevator, formerly Dover Elevator, retiring as the vice president for human resources. He was a Vietnam War Air Force veteran and former president of the Kiwanis Club.
Survivors include his wife, Deborah Trusty Rumble; daughters, Allison Rumble of Newport, Shannon Derenge of Fairfax, Va., and Millinda Fowles of Lexington; stepson, Dr. Nathan Bates of Jacksonville, Fla., stepdaughters, Julia Green of Louisville, Dr. Ronda Garcia and Elizabeth Bates, both of Jacksonville, Fla.; mother, Lucille D. Rumble of Florence; brother, Clinton Rumble of Beijing, China; and nine grandchildren.
Visitation will be 5-8 p.m. Friday, June 4, at Linnemann Funeral Home and Cremation Center, Burlington. Private memorial service will be later at Kentucky Veterans Cemetery North, Williamstown.
