Betty Barnes (nee Isler), 89, of Erlanger, KY passed away on Thursday, November 2, 2017, at St. Elizabeth Healthcare in Florence, KY.  Betty worked as a sales clerk for 20 years with Shillito’s.  She is preceded in death by her husband Nelson J. Barnes, her parents Jacob and Lillian Isler, and her 13 brothers and sisters.  Betty is survived by her daughter Terry Barnes Striet (Jeff) of Cincinnati, OH, son Michael Barnes (Beverly Cox Barnes) of Elsmere, KY, grandchildren: Jeremy White, Eric Striet (Becca), Brittany Barnes Stayton (Luke), Allie Striet, and Nick Barnes, great grandchildren: Blake, Destiny, Kahrizma, Lucy, Layla, and Plamer, and several nieces, nephews, and close friends.  A visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 7, 2017 from 10am until 11am at Mary Queen of Heaven Church.  Mass of Christian Burial will immediately follow and begin at 11am at the church.  Entombment will be at Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Erlanger, KY.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the American Heart Association 5211 Madison Rd.
