Ronald J. Hayden 82; of Union, KY. Ron passed away peacefully at St. Elizabeth Hospice in Edgewood, KY on Sunday March 14, 2021. He is preceded in death by: his parents: Charles and Ada Hayden Sr., His siblings: Beverly Hayden, Jerry Hayden, Judy Hall, Gloria Robinson, Tony Hayden and Phyllis Gavin Minshall and stepdaughter: Cheri Yauch-Bolt. Ron is survived by his beloved wife: Mary Rose Hayden. His Daughter: Gina (Steve) Mitchell. His stepchildren: Scott Yauch, Michele Yauch, W. S. Yauch and Julie Yauch. His grandchildren: Jesse Schabell and Benjamin Mitchell. His brother: Gordon (Judy) Hayden. His Sister-in-law: Lee Hayden along with other extended family and friends. Ron enjoyed a career as a lithographer at Viva Color and property maintenance and grounds keeper with Toebben Properties. He enjoyed UK basketball, gardening, fishing and his dog. He was a jack of all trades with small projects on his honey do list and around his daughter’s house. Jokingly, a few tools may have gone missing or perhaps mysteriously ended up in the “wrong toolbox”. Ron was a devoted husband, father and grandfather. He was actively involved with his grandchildren never missing a game or a show. Most notably, Ron’s kindness will be missed! He was upbeat always with a smile on his face! Ron was dearly loved by his wife, children and many others. He will be truly missed. Rest in Peace Ron! Services will be held at Linnemann Funeral Home at 12 PM.
