Condolences

Dorothy McKillip of Petoskey, Michigan and Edgewood, Kentucky was born Oct 15, 1924, in Windsor, Ontario Canada, to Bergin and Ethel McPhee. Dorothy married William McKillip on Oct 8, 1947 in Royal Oak, Michigan. Dorothy is remembered by her family and friends as a gracious, loyal, generous, and devout person.  We, her family, want to honor and remember her open-hearted and loving commitment to her family and her devotion to her faith.

She was preceded in death by her husband, William McKillip; sister, Barbara Dianich (nee McPhee) and brother, Donald McPhee. Dorothy is survived by her three children, Kathleen (Lawrence) Wonderling (nee McKillip), William McKillip, Jr., and Karen (Richard) McMullen (nee McKillip) and her sister Margaret Johnson.  Dorothy loved and received joy from their twelve grandchildren, twenty- seven great grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild.

A memorial visitation for Dorothy will be on Friday, May 14, 2021 from 9:00AM-10:00AM at St. Barbara Church in Erlanger, KY. A memorial mass will follow the visitation at 10:00AM. Additional services for Dorothy will take place in Petoskey, MI at a later date. Memorial contributions can be made to Father Dan’s Food Pantry 415 State St. Petoskey, MI 49770.

Wonderful Friend

Dorothy was a wonderful friend of our family. She was always good-natured and gracious. We had many great times together with her and Bill. Lots of special memories. We will miss her.
