Laverne Jeanette Bessler

,

To the Bessler Family,

I enjoyed very much being in the company of your mother. She is a very holy woman! She and Joe can share each other’s company again!

Love,
Jim & Anna Foltz

Deepest Sympathy

To the Bessler Family,
I met a few of you many years ago at your Aunt Betty’s house. I grew up directly behind the Smalls.
I remember your Family to be extremely nice and good, caring people.

I am sorry for the loss of Your Mother!!

Take care! and God Bless all of you!!!

Julie Naber

Prayers

I cannot express in words what Laverne and Joe meant to me in my journey to God. They were the finest examples of marriage and living a Christian life that I have known in my life. From the Life in the Spirit Seminars to prayers groups at St. Anthony at 6 AM on Sunday mornings, the memories go on and on. I am so happy she is re united with Joe. If there are levels of sainthood, Joe and Laverne are at the top level. My thoughts and prayers are with all of you. Love, Dick Maile

Mary Gilligan

Upon learning Laverne had passed. My mom’s (Mary Bessler Gilligan) sorrowly said “oh I know Joe is sad. They were married a month before I was to your dad. Joe so loved Laverne, please tell Joe I am thinking of him and send him my love” I don’t correct mom when she thinks her brothers and sisters are still alive. It’s too much for her to absorb if I tell her, Big Ed is her only surviving sibling. So Uncle Joe…my mom (94 next month) is sending her love to heaven to you. XO Gilligan’s
