Condolences

Ms. Angela Kay (West) Brown, 57, passed away unexpectedly in her sleep in her home Saturday morning November 27, 2021, in Florence, Ky.

She was known fondly by her friends and family as Ang.

Angela was a public school teacher for over 22 years, most of her career spent with Boone County Public School System. She lived a generous life volunteering her time teaching children in Jamaica through the Peace Corps, where she met and married fellow teacher, Justin Brown, the father of her only child.

Angela was preceded in death by her father Wendalin West and mother, Helen West.

Angela is survived by her son, Justin Anthony Brown II, his fiancé, Robert Giles, her sisters Lana Story, Mary Kuchle, Alma Swinford, Constance West, her brother, Wendalin West Jr., a multitude of nieces and nephews, her beloved friend Harjeet, her two beloved cats Moses and Poet-Chan, and will be missed by many others she has touched in the community throughout her lifetime. Visitation will take place at Linnemann Funeral Home in Erlanger, Ky, Thursday, December 2nd. Visitation is 10-11am with services to immediately follow. Burial will be at 12pm in Forest Lawn Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Protect 4 Paws Animal Shelter, a nonprofit no-kill animal shelter in Wilder, Ky or toward funeral expenses at https://gofund.me/9bde431c

So sorry for your loss

I worked with Angela at Ockerman and she always had a smile on her face. She was beautiful on the inside and out. Prayers for all her family and friends.
