Christopher Patrick Ferry, 45, passed away unexpectedly at his Florence, KY residence on Friday, December 31, 2021. Christopher was born in Akron, OH on June 3, 1976. He was a 1995 graduate of Dixie Heights High School. Chris also graduated from Northern Kentucky Technical College. Christopher worked fulltime for Walmart for 24 years and also worked parttime for McDonalds. He was a diehard Pittsburgh Steelers and Pirates fan. He also had a passion for video and arcade games, model cars, NASCAR, horror movies, Coca Cola memorabilia, driving, and taking long trips. Chris is survived by his loving parents Richard and Patricia Ferry, sister Nichole Ann-Marie Ferry (Joseph Turner), close family friend Hillary Tabor, aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends at Walmart and McDonalds. A visitation will be held on Monday, January 10, 2022 from 5pm until 8pm at Linnemann Funeral Home in Erlanger, KY. A Mass of Christian Burial will be on Tuesday, January 11, 2022 at 11AM at St. Joseph Church in Crescent Springs. The interment will be at Gate of Heaven Cemetery in Montgomery. Rest In Peace
I worked with Chris (Yo as we called him) at Walmart for probably 10 years. I’ve been gone for about 13 years and we lost touch over that time, but I’ve got a lot of fond memories working with Chris and the fun we had there and with our fantasy football drafts back in the day. Chris was a warm, friendly person with a great sense of humor and I can’t believe he’s gone.
My condolences to Chris’ family. The world is a little less bright now.

My son, Jeremy Brosmore attended Dixie Heights with Chris. We would see Chris at his place of work. He always said , “hi”, with a BIG smile on his face, We never saw him without that smile , it lite up the room. I also know he was a very hard worker, always busy, working hard. I happened on this by accident while looking for information on someone else. Chris and I worked together many moons ago for a mail sort operation at CVG (Argenbright). He was such a nice young man, good worker, and a friend. I actually thought about him recently and recalled some of the silly things we did and said on the ramp. We lost touch after I left that job, but I always thought of him with great admiration.
You will be missed, sir!!
