Condolences

Peggy Jill Belew (69) of Walton, KY passed away Wednesday, February 3, 2022 at her home.  She was born in Hamilton County, Ohio on May 11, 1952, daughter of the late Kenneth Eugene and Mildred Marie Bowen Belew.

Peggy was a member of Anchor Baptist Church in Erlanger, Ky.  She graduated from Holmes High School in 1970 and faithfully served on the reunion committee for many years.  She worked for St. Elizabeth Hospital starting in Data Processing and serving in the IT division at the time of her retirement.  She enjoyed volunteering with the Pendleton County Historical and Genealogical Society and the Boone County Public Library.  She was a talented cross-stitcher and sang in the choir at Ashland Avenue Baptist church and in the praise team at Anchor Church.

Peggy is survived by her sister, Donna (Thomas) Melhorn and her brother, Terry (Mary Beth) Belew.  She was a devoted aunt to Andrew Melhorn, Gayle Scott, Ashley Beam and Blair Belew and great-aunt to 11 great nieces and nephews.

Peggy enjoyed traveling and had seen much of the U.S.  She will be greatly missed by her family and many friends.  We know that she is resting in the arms of Jesus.

A memorial service will be held at a later time.  Online condolences can be submitted to www.linnemannfuneralhomes.com.

I was Blessed to know Peggy as her classmate at Holmes and sorry I did not get a chance to attend our Class Reunion where she worked so diligent for its success. She was like that in school, always ready to help and pitch in wherever and whenever and whenever she was needed. She had such a Quiet, Beautiful Spirit which has Transition now in the ARMS OF OUR LORD AND SAVIOR JESUS CHRIST…. Rest Peggy !! My Prayers are with you the Family of such a Wonderful Child Of The King!!
