So Sorry to learn of this untimely passing today from a mutual friend. I was shocked. Bill and tour wife are in my prayers. May he rest in peace.

We are so sorry to learn of Will’s passing. He was a super “neat” kid at Kelly Elementary, respectful, insightful with an unforgettable smile. We continued to see him on occasion as he grew into a handsome and industrious young man. We extend our condolences and have offered our prayers for all the Spreher family.

We were lucky. We lived next door to Will from the day he was born until he was old enough to get out on his own. Not having children of our own, we were privileged to have great neighbors who shared their kids, Will and Cy, with us. We were gifted a million fun, funny and crazy memories. We’ve only recently learned Will had an ability to make most everyone he knew feel as special as we did around him. We are going to miss watching his antics and successes but are forever grateful to have had him in our lives.

I knew Will from childhood in CCD. After reuniting in Confirmation, we started dating in high school. Over the years, we have run into each other randomly and would chat. Even though it’s been over two decades since we were close, I find his passing terribly sad. He had an old soul and seemed to just see the world differently, even at 16. He enjoyed old music and movies, that would make me laugh and melt my heart. There were so many funny and special things about him! I pray that his family and friends will find comfort, peace, and even joy in their hearts again.

We met sweet Will on vacation in Pensacola many years ago. We looked forward to seeing him each and every year. He always brightened days there. He was hilarious and kept us laughing, kind to all he met and to this day, when we talk about those wonderful days at the beach, he is always the first in our hearts…and there he will remain. Will was one of the nicest guys I knew. My Daughter Kimberly went to school with Will. When my daughter passed away of cancer Will stopped by our home. He shared many stories with me about times he spend with my daughter. We laughed and cried. The things he said were so touching I will never forget. I really did appreciate him stopping by.
To me Will was an angel, I guess God thought so too.

There will always be a void on this earth because of your absence. You brought light to your mom, dad, sister, and nieces. I hope they saved you a special place in heaven.

Will had a way of making you feel seen. No matter who you were, you mattered to him.
The world need more Wills.

Will grew up with my kids. he spent many days visiting our home in his high school days and over the years if we ever seen him out he always came up and hugged us like we never missed a beat although it may have been months or even years. He made us always feel so loved.
He just did a big tree removal for us last year and was so prompt and professional with the processes.
Will , you will never know how much joy you brought to all of those around you. Ted and i will miss you so much. I still can not believe you are gone.
To the parents of Will , you have been in our prayers since we heard the news, and wow what a great man you brought into this world. If there is anything we can do to help your family please let us know.

Will Spreher was my very best friend in the whole entire world and I miss him terriably. He made friends with everyone he ever met. Will didn’t know a stranger. His contagious smile and warm laugh will be forever missed by everyone but never forgotten. He had the biggest heart and gave the best hugs. I’d give anything for just one more of those hugs and a ” I love you buddy” out of him. The love he had for his friends was deep and constant. The love he had for his family was immeasurable and unwavering. Will knew who he was and where he came from. He was a Boone County boy who came from the most loving parents and best sister a person could ever imagine of which we had in common along with countless other loves. His family welcomed me into their lives and they became my family also. I loved Will and his family and I always will. Bill and Connie, you raised the best son and he loved you both so very much. Cy, you were right there by Will’s side and always had his back and he loved you so very much. Will loved his two nieces to the moon and back and he loved his brother-in-law Steve for being the rock of their family. Will was very passionate about everything he ever did, and I mean everything. When he set his mind to something he found a way to accomplish it. Will had the most fierce compettive edge and more inner drive to succeed than anyone I’ve ever met. His spirit was so strong. Will really did have the eye of the tiger in his belly. Will was strong, smart, kind, loving, loyal, generous, funny, witty, lighthearted and driven. Will was larger than life and a one of a kind man. Will Spreher was My Best Man.

A person’s character can be a reflection of how they were raised. Will had a very kind soul and would do anything for anyone. You will be missed by so many people, and I feel very blessed to have known you. Our loss is Heaven’s gain. I hope you are smiling like you always did 🙂

I am so sorry that you have left this world and your parents and sister. You were such a sweet person. I remember the first time I met you. I was driving you and your friend somewhere and you told us a dirty joke that just cracked me up. From then on I liked you. You will be greatly missed.

I knew Will and Cy in high school and was greatly saddened to learn of his passing. Will had a wonderful laugh and smile and warm disposition that is forever etched into the hearts and minds of everyone who met him. The world was truly a more friendly place with Will in it, and despite having lost contact with him many years ago I feel the loss of his passing deeply. Will was everyone’s friend. My deepest condolences to all of his family.
