To the Hamel Family

We were greatly saddened to hear of Susan’s passing.
She was a one-of-a-kind lady, with her quick wit, ready sense of humor, kind heart, and generous spirit.
The world is a better place because she walked (and often danced) among us.
Wow! We sure are going to miss our forever friend.
Rest well, dear Susan.
May God hold you in His loving arms forever.
Our deepest sympathy,
Lou and Donna Dahmann and Family

Wonderful teacher who impacted so many.

Mrs. Hamel was a great teacher with a great sense of humor and just the right level and perfect combination of encouragement and sarcasm. She had high expectations and enabled her students to meet them and become what she always knew they could be. Great teacher and great lady. Even after almost 40 years I still talk about her to my kids.
God bless her and her family. Condolences and love to all who were gifted with opportunity to know her.
