Condolences

Joan Kurtz Kuhlman, 89, of Crestview Hills, KY passed away peacefully on Friday July 1, 2022, at St. Elizabeth Hospice in Edgewood, KY.  Joan was born on September 16, 1932 in Lake Mills, WI to the late Harry and Clara (Henrich) Kurtz.  She was a homemaker and very active in her church and community.  Joan was an active member of Immanuel United Methodist Church, held several officer positions with the United Methodist Women and led the children’s and youth choirs.  She was a member of PEO, Welcome Wagon, Homemakers, and several bridge clubs.   Joan sang with the Sweet Adelines and served as a Pink Lady volunteer at St. Elizabeth Hospital.  She was a talented piano player, playing for church, as an accompanist and for her fellow Atria residents.    In addition to her parents Joan was preceded in death by her husband Charles Kuhlman, daughter Susan Nimmo, son-in-law Roy Gaddie, and brother Russel Kurtz.  She is survived by her daughters Nancy Gaddie and Lisa Nowland, 11 grandchildren, and 10 great grandchildren.  A memorial visitation will be held on Saturday, July 16, 2022 from 9am until 11am at Immanuel United Methodist Church.  A memorial service will immediately follow.  Entombment will take place at Highland Cemetery in Ft.
