I will miss Ron’s friendship and smile He was a great man!

Father figure and THE best boss that I ever had.

Donna and Family,
To say that I am shocked is an understatement. I had no idea so I sent an email to check on him and received your message that Ron had passed. I gasped loudly and Patty came downstairs to see what was happening. Ron was one of the most amazing men I have ever met, and he made a true impact om my life. He was a father figure to me even though I had a good dad myself, but he was also my boss for many years. He earned my respect as my boss but also as a deeply influential man in my life. I have so many stories that I can share, but I will choose just one illustration to show how he earned such high respect, honor, and deep love from me as well as Patty. When Brett, our younger son, was a little guy, he was so sickly and always in and out of doctors’ offices and hospitals. Two times when he was actually admitted, sitting right beside me and my wife was Ron. He just sat, listened and let us talk. When the time felt right, he would offer such wise counsel and comfort. That is the kind of man that he was for me and my wife. He also is responsible for my induction into the NKY Sport H of F, which I still feel underqualified to be a member in next to such giants. Having just loss my mother in law back in March, I know that there are no words to describe what you are going through and the months ahead of you. There are no rules for grieving so let the process work and go with it. Surround yourselves with family and friends when you need support and don’t be afraid to laugh, cry, tell stories, and know that he was a man who loved his wife, kids, and their families. I loved Ron and I am not ashamed to say that. God Bless and feel free to keep in touch as you are able.

To the Family

Ron Schneider was an awesome administrator and a very caring person. I appreciated the way he cared for the kids, but also kept them in line. He will be missed.

Prayers for your family

My thoughts are with you during this difficult time. Ronnie was a great friend to my dad, Tiny. I’m sure my dad was glad to see his old buddy!
