FLORENCE- William G. Schaber, 90, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on Thursday May 19, 2016 at St Elizabeth Medical Center in Florence. He was a Union Painter for 35 years, volunteered at the Ft Wright Fire Department, St Agnes Church and Knothole Baseball. He was also a WWII Navy Veteran. Preceded in death by his brother Donald Schaber and sister Jean Schaber Hater. Survivors include his sons Dale (Cordelia) Schaber of Villa Hills, Bill (Mary) Schaber of Florence, Mark (Debbie) Schaber of Florence, Paul (Angela) Schaber of Erlanger, brother Charles Schaber of Newport, step-children John, Dan, Steve, Rob and Jenny. Also surviving are several grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held Monday May 23, 2016 from 5pm to 7pm with funeral services to follow at Linnemann Funeral Homes in Erlanger. Memorials may be made to Charity of Donor’s Choice.
