My Uncle Alvie

Most of my favorite childhood memories involve times spent with my dad, Uncle Alvie, Aunt Sharon, and my cousins George and Krista. I often find myself thinking about the times spent camping, fishing, boating or even listening to music on their jukebox in the basement. Alvie was one one the best fisherman I’ve ever known. I can’t tell you how many times we would would get skunked and he would grab a pole and have a fish on within minutes. I have no idea how he did it. He always had the best stories. My favorite is the legend of Falling Rock. I hope you and my dad are up there fishing, telling stories, and having a beer. I’ll miss you.
