Tributes
Joseph J.W. Teuchert I, 60, of Moores Hill, IN, passed away on Wednesday, November 30, 2022, surrounded by his family. Joseph was a Captain for ASTAR Air Cargo.
Captain Joseph J. W. Teuchert I, lived life at full -throttle, moved always in the fast lanes, teetered on every edge, seized every moment and shook it like a terrier shaking a rat. He did not know what moderation was or where you’d go to look for it.
Captain Joseph J. W. Teuchert I, was the only person that his family ever known whose self-esteem was absolutely unassailable. There was not one thing about himself that he did not like, nor was there one thing about himself that he would change. He simply adored the man he was and walked with perfect confidence through every encounter in his life. Joseph Teuchert I, wished everyone could be just like him. His stubbornness was an art form. He did what he did, when he wanted to do it, and woe to the man who got in his way.
We will always remember his teasing sense of humor, his passion for airplanes and his love for his family and friends.
We come here today to say goodbye and — trusting in God’s promise of eternal life — wish him bon voyage on his final flight.
We love him so much. Until we meet him again, we bid him farewell.
Joseph was preceded in death by his parents, Gene Teuchert and Joanne Lloyd.
He leaves behind his loving wife of 17 years, Olga Teuchert; his children, Victoria Teuchert and Joseph J.W. Teuchert II; and his siblings, Debra (Steve Peterson) Teuchert, Renae (Brian) Swanson, and Rebecca Teuchert.
Joseph also leaves behind numerous additional family members and friends.
Visitation will be on Saturday, December 10, 2022 from 10:00AM-12:00PM at Linnemann Funeral Homes in Burlington, KY. A Eulogy will be delivered by his one of the closest friends, Mark McDaniel, after the visitation at 12:00PM at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the future education of Joseph’s children.
