Donna Sue Jahnke (nee Hollis) age 66, died Monday November 30th at her Florence residence. She was retired from a long career in Government service working in many capacities, among them an analyst with the IRS. She loved her family and going to the beach. Her daughter Shawn Wisdom preceded Donna in death. Survivors include her husband Carl Jahnke of Florence; her sons David Wisdom of Florence and James Wisdom III of Cincinnati; a daughter Kimberly Wisdom of Cincinnati, Ohio; 2 stepsons Timothy Jahnke of Florence and Steven Jahnke of Independence; a sister Teresa Goss of Maysville, KY and two brothers, Steve Bonafel of Alexandria, KY and Kevin Bonafel of California, KY. Visitation will be Thursday December 3rd from 5-8pm at Linnemann Funeral Home and Event Center, Burlington. Funeral Services will be held 10am, Friday December 4th at the funeral home. Burial will be in Highland Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the veteran’s charity of your choice.
