FT. MITCHELL- Eleanor “Chris” Schmidt, 86, passed away November 28th, 2015 at St Elizabeth Hospice in Edgewood KY. She was a homemaker, member of Blessed Sacrament Church and volunteered at Be Concerned in Covington. Preceded in death by her husband George C. Schmidt Jr., sister Betty Wilcoxson and brothers James Lahm and Robert Lahm. Survivors include her daughters Debbie(Joe) Menkhaus of Ft Mitchell, Connie(Jerry) Wellbrock of Crestview Hills, Kathy(Steve)Roeding of Villa Hills, and Mary Bell of Ft Mitchell, son George C.(Terri)Schmidt III of Villa Hills, sister Dorothy Bayer of Houston TX, brothers Harry Lahm Jr. of Fountain Hills AZ and John Lahm of Burlington. Also surviving are 9 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. Mass of Christian burial will be held Friday December 4th, 2015 at 10am at Blessed Sacrament Church in Ft Mitchell. Burial of Cremains will be held at Mother of God Cemetery in Covington.
