Condolences

Greg Alan Bingman, 65 of Ft. Wright, passed away on October 30, 2023. Greg started his career in Dawson Springs, Kentucky as the band director and continued serving as a band director for Holmes High School. He retired as the IT director from Covington Schools in 2017. He always enjoyed taking vacations to the beach with his family. He loved his girls and attended all of their sporting events and dance recitals.  Greg had a profound impact on the hundreds of students he came in contact with.  He was not just a teacher – he was a leader, role model, and was well respected by all who knew him.  He shared his love of music with everyone he encountered.

Greg was preceded in death by his parents: Kenneth Ray and Virginia Lilleen Bingman and niece: Amy Michelle Holbert. He is survived by his daughter: Ashton (Ryan) Hahn, step-daughter: London (Jim Martin) Huenefeld, granddaughter: Parker Jane Hahn, brother: Ryan (Connie) Bingman, sisters: Jana (Rick) Sebastian and Lea (Danny) Burgess, and many nieces and nephews.

Memorial visitation will be held on Sunday, November 5, 2023 from 12pm to 2pm at Linnemann Funeral Homes, Erlanger. Funeral services will immediately follow at 2pm. Greg and I were like brothers at a point in our lives probably starting in 6th grade. Time and distance separation never changes that. May God’s blessings be with you all as you mourn Greg’s passing. With deepest sympathy, Tim Brown.
