Morris “Morrie” W. Hail, 75, of Erlanger passed away on June 4, 2014 at St. Elizabeth Hospital. Morrie worked in the film industry for 30 years, acting as office manager for several film companies. He then was a dispatcher for the Erlanger and Airport Police Departments, retiring from the Airport Police Department in 2003, and was a long-time member of the FOP. Morrie loved music and was known for his beautiful singing voice. He sang in the Trinity Episcopal and the St. Henry church choirs, and performed in the May Festival for years. In addition to serving in the church choirs, Morrie was acting Sunday School Superintendent at Trinity Episcopal for many years. Morris is preceded in death by his parents, Joe and Anna Hail, and son Bruce Hail. Survivors include his loving wife of 53 years, Patricia “Pat” Hail of Erlanger, son Randy Hail of Erlanger, two grandchildren Brittani Hail of Florence, Cody Hail of Erlanger, sister Kathy (Mike) Downer of Union, and many nieces and nephews. Visitation is scheduled for Monday 4-8pm at Linnemann Funeral Home, Erlanger, KY. Mass of Christian Burial will be Tuesday,10am at St. Henry Church, Erlanger, KY, 41018.
