George Edwin Stewart, 88, of Crescent Springs, KY, died on Sunday, February
3rd, 2013 at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Edgewood. He was a business executive
and a Kentucky Colonel. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Joanne A.
Stewart, one sister, and six brothers. He is survived by his wife, Irene Stewart of
Crescent Springs; his sons, Christophe G. Stewart of Louisville, KY, and Gregory
B. (Jeanine) Stewart of Shanghai, China; his daughters, Maureen (Michael)
Popper of Delray Beach, FL, Lysa (John Donohue) Stewart of Laguna Beach, CA,
Sheila S. (Dan) Shook of Morrow, OH, and Cathleen Q. Stewart of Doylestown,
PA; his brother, John (Jean) Stewart of Lynnfield, MA; and his step-son, Larry
Scott Hamblin (Liz) of Crescent Springs. He also leaves behind 18 grandchildren
and 5 great-grandchildren. Visitation will be on Thursday, February 7 th, from
3:30PM—6:30PM at Linnemann Funeral Homes Erlanger. Funeral service will
be at 6:30PM at the funeral home on Thursday. Memorial contributions to: The
