Cunha, Flora of Union, formerly of Lake Placid, FL. Passed away on February 3, 2013 following a long illness. She was preceded in death by her husband of 54 years, Amadeu. She is survived by her adopted children, Gloria of San Francisco, CA, Christopher (Donna) of Union, Keith (Catherine) of Marietta, GA, and Janice Foster, of Burlington, NJ. She is also survived by 9 grandchildren and one great-granddaughter. A devoted wife and mother, Flora spent many years of her life fighting for the rights of foster and adoptive families in her home state of New York. Visitation will take place on Friday, February 8, 2013 from 6-8pm at the Linnemann Funeral Home in Burlington, KY. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10AM on Saturday February 9, 2013 at Immaculate Heart of Mary Church, Burlington, KY. Burial will be at Maple Grove Cemetery, Queens, NY.
