Tributes
George Allen Hicks, 71, died on Wednesday, January 23rd, 2013 at St. Elizabeth
Hospital in Covington. He was a painter for the Hilton Company for over ten
years, a Kentucky Colonel, a member of Linden Social Club and a member of
the Fraternal Order of Police for District 1 in Covington. He was preceded in
death by his parents, Clarence and Mary Louise Hicks; and his sister, Bonnie
Lou Hicks. He is survived by his wife, Elaine Hicks of Covington; his daughters,
Denise Moore of Latonia, Debra Hall of Casper, WY, and Tammy Wilson of
Covington; his brothers, Jim Hicks of Ft. Mitchell, and Frank Hicks of Ft. Wright;
and his sisters, Jeannette Unkraut of Edgewood, and Sue Hicks of Covington. He
also leaves behind grandchildren: David, Nichole, Tommy, Keyonna, Anthony,
Elizabeth, and Sarah and 8 great-grandchildren. Visitation will be on Monday,
January 28th, from 10AM—12PM at Linnemann Funeral Homes Erlanger. Funeral
service will be at 12PM at the funeral home. Burial to follow at Floral Hills
