Lucille, “Ceil” Scherder Haskell, 91, passed away peacefully in her sleep on January 11, 2013, at Madonna Manor Nursing Facility in Villa Hills. Lucille was a dedicated wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, who spent many hours volunteering for 4H, the Queens Service, and the Bereavement Committee of Mary Queen of Heaven Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Haskell; her brothers, Gerald Scherder and Harry Scherder, and her sisters, Rita Disken and Dorothy Schneider. She leaves her sons, Allan (Peggy) Haskell of Edgewood, KY, Louis Haskell of Dublin, OH, her daughter, Linda Cox (Larry) of Washington Courthouse, OH, 6 grandchildren and 5 great-grandsons.
Visitation will be held on Monday, January 14th from 10:00 A.M. to 11:00 A.M. at Mary Queen of Heaven Church, 1150 Donaldson Road, Erlanger, KY 41018. Mass of Christian Burial will follow the visitation. Memorials are suggested to Mary Queen of Heaven Church, or to Hospice of the Bluegrass, 7388 Turfway Road, Florence, KY 41042. Arrangements are being handled by Linnemann Funeral Home in Erlanger.
