FT. THOMAS – Lorraine “Tippy” Ligon-Fleagle, 88, passed away on December 30, 2012 at St. Elizabeth Hospice in Ft. Thomas, KY. She was a member of the Petersburg Baptist Church for 60 years as well as a long time treasurer for the church, the Petersburg Senior Citizens and Women’s Missionary Union. Tippy was preceded by her daughter Gerry Ligon who died 35 years ago on December 30th, and her beloved husband’s Hubert Ligon and Leo Fleagle. She will be dearly missed by her son Billy Ligon (Pat), daughters Jody Gripshover (Larry), and Robyn Dallary (late Lance), her grandchildren Andrea Abdon, Billy C. Ligon, Gerry Remines, Larry Gripshover, Michael Gripshover, Andy Gripshover, Joann Gripshover, and Lance Dallary II, as well as 15 great-grandchildren. Visitation will take place at Linnemann Family Funeral Home in Burlington, KY on Friday, January 4, 2013 from 5PM – 8PM. Funeral service on Saturday, January 5, 2013 at 11AM at Petersburg Baptist Church 6537 Market Street Petersburg, KY 41080 with burial to follow at Petersburg Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial donations can be made to Petersburg Baptist Church.
