Delphine White Vandling, formally of Abington Pennsylvania, died peacefully in her sleep on Sunday March 13th at her daughter’s residence in Edgewood, KY. She was born on Feburary 27,1912 in Nescopeck Pennsylvania. She was an active member of the Abington Township community for over fifty years and a long time member of Abington Presbyterian Church. She taught Senior English at Upper Dublin High School for over 25 years where she was head of the English Department. Prior to that she taught at the old Beaver Collage in Glenside, Pa. She was preceded in death by her son Kent W. Vandling and sister Marion Boyer. She leaves behind her daughter Deborah (James) Mueller of Edgewood, KY and her granddaughter Paige Mueller, also of Edgewood. A graveside service will take place at Highland Cemetery in Ft. Mitchell, KY. In lieu of flowers please send memorials to The American Cancer Society.
