Mary Ellen Bertke, 95, entered eternal life on Friday, October 28, 2016 at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Edgewood, KY surrounded by her loving family. She was preceded in death by her brothers Albert Molloy and Charles Davis. She will be dearly missed by her husband of 71 years John Frank Bertke; her children: Sandy Recker (Paul), Tom Bertke, Gayle Fugazzi, Nancy Naber (Tim); grandchildren: Shawna Schreiber, Erin Carlton, Trevor Fugazzi , Emily Giles, Kera Studer, Maria James, Jennifer Williamson, Allison Bertke, Stefani Naber, Reed Naber, and Trey Naber; as well as 16 great-grand children. A memorial visitation will be held at St. Pius X in Edgewood, KY, on Wednesday, November 2, 2016 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM with Mass to follow at 6:00 PM. A private family burial will take place the following day at St. Mary Cemetery in Ft. Mitchell, KY. Memorial donations may be made to: Parish Kitchen; 141 W Pike St, Covington, KY 41011.
