Obituary
Condolences

Amber Nicole McNernery-Czirr, age 42, was a loving mother of two and was also an adoring wife. After a courageous battle with melanoma cancer, she passed away the early morning of March 17th, 2022. Amber was born October 19th, 1979 in Cincinnati, Ohio to Terry and Marianne McNerney. She was a graduate of Grant County High School and attended Thomas Moore College. After many adventures in the work force, she settled into the health and benefits position at Hard Rock Casino in their Human Resource department. Amber was a very avid user of Facebook, was easily captivated by the idiots of tik tok, and was always looking for a way to get a new dog. Amber is survived by her husband Chris Czirr, her oldest son Curtis Czirr (21), youngest son Cooper Czirr (13) and her “goodest boy” Noah Drake (dog). A memorial visitation will be held for Amber on Thursday, March 24, 2022 from 4pm until 7pm at Linnemann Funeral Home, 1940 Burlington Pike, Burlington, KY 41005. A Celebration of Ambers’ life will be held immediately following at 7pm at the Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Stray Animal Adoption Program (S.A.A.P.) at P.O. Box 72040, Newport, KY 41072 or online at www.adoptastray.com in memory of Amber.

Amber you were and are much loved. I will always cherish our friendship. Love you always.

My Sweet Cousin

Amber was such a sweet girl, who also could get things done. This is a great loss for the family and she will be deeply missed. Our thoughts and prayers are with them. Love you, Jeff and Sheila Russell ❤️

Touched many lives!

Amber touched many lives. She was my boss for a short time and I loved her spunky, but no bull attitude. She was a strong, bright, and resilient women who could put a smile on anyone’s face. Her wit was unmatched, just as her charm! Her smile contagious and her heart rang true; you never had to question what Amber was thinking and I loved her when our lives crossed paths… Later in life, I worked with her father, Terry. I hope for strength for the family she so dearly loved and know she is at peace. Condolences to Terry and Ambers boys! -Jennifer Sturgeon
