Avery Michelle Austin Plummer’s 18 years was tragically cut short as a passenger in a vehicle accident in Colorado Springs, Colorado on September 17, 2016. Avery was known for her intelligence, magnetic personality and infectious smile that will be missed by all whom knew and loved her. She served God though mission trips inside and outside of the country, volunteered at Milestones which provides equestrian therapy for children with special needs, and fiercely protected her friends and family whenever possible. Avery was a free spirit that at times would much rather beg for forgiveness than ask for her parents’ permission, whether it was getting a nose ring or rescuing an animal that would make it’s way into the family. Avery’s little sister Ellie would count the days until Avery’s return from school and would drop anybody to be in the presence of Avery, whom she quickly proclaimed Ellie as her “baby” from birth. Avery was born and raised in Greater Cincinnati including Mt. Lookout, Ohio and Villa Hills, Kentucky. She began her college career in Colorado at CSU and Toni and Guy Cosmetology School, always interested in finding beauty in the world around her. Avery is survived by her parents Christa and Trent Plummer, siblings Cassandra, Elizabeth, and Griffin Plummer, grandparents Cathy and Robert Lilley, grandfather Ronald Danner, grandmother Velma Downs, great grandmother Dorothy Thompson, uncle Brian Danner (Amanda), uncle Brent Danner (Tiffany), uncle Steven Lilley (Tara), uncle Rodd Lilley (Tracey), aunt Tiffany Patrick, and many loving cousins and other family. Her Colorado parents include Chad and Erica Austin and grandparents Bill and Mary Austin. Visitation will be held on Monday, September 26, 2016 from 6pm to 8pm at Linnemann Funeral in Erlanger, KY. A second visitation will take place on Tuesday from 10:30am until 11:30am at St. Agnes Church, in Ft. Wright, KY, with the Mass of Christian Burial to immediately follow. Interment will be by invitation only and take place at St. Mary Cemetery, in Ft. Mitchell, KY. Memorial contributions may be sent to Milestones Inc. 12372 Riggs Rd. Independence, KY 41051. True hope for your loved one.
My condolences to the family. May you find true hope and comfort as you read Jesus’ promise at John 11:25 which Jesus himself will deliver in the future on earth. Until then may Jehovah, the God of all comfort, give you the strenght you need to endure and to comfort one another.
