Sincerly sorry, Connie and Family

Hi Connie and Family I just heard of your loss. I am so incredibly sorry to hear about your mom! Gosh, our moms are our first friends, and they remain our constant companions. I lost my mom nearly 19 years ago, and I still miss her every single day. I wish I could give you words of comfort or advice.. but the fact is… there are none. Something someone wrote to me after losing my mom: “Don’t be sad that she is gone. Be happy for the times you had”. It took a while to sink in… those words seem hollow now… but somehow this sentiment still brings me comfort. This, and the fact that we know our moms would be the last to see their kids sad. Moms want nothing more than to see their kids happy and think happy thoughts of her. Cope as best you can. Hold your loved ones near. I am here if you ever want to talk.
Sincerely,
Sue Turk

Love and Many Prayers
