Tributes
Chloe Leigh McDaniel, 5, was granted her Angel wings on Sunday, January 10, 2015 at her home following a lifelong rare genetic disorder. Chloe’s life would seem too short to many, but those who were touched by her understood that the quality of her life far exceeded the quantity in which she lived. Her smile would melt your heart and though she never spoke a word, you knew the miracle that she was and those around her could see Christ’s light shine through her. She was preceded in death by her great-grandparents: Franklin E. Carnfield Sr., Ruby Kemp, Mary and Joseph Rogg, James and Doris McDaniel; grandparents: Frank E. Carnfield and Jim Brandenburg; and her cousin Victoria Chandler. She will be dearly missed by: her loving parents Jennifer and Gary McDaniel; siblings: Hannah and Frankie McDaniel; grandparents: Marcia Cranfield-Brandenburg, May and Gary Mcdaniel and Diane Utz; gret-grandmother Edwina Cranfield; her aunt Kristy Dunaway; uncles: Ryan Cranfield (Amber), Chad, Todd and Kevin (Cassie) Brandenburg; cousins: Ashely Baynard (Jimmy) Chris, Nick and Paige Brandenburg, Kaleigh and Brayden Cranfield, Olivia Chandler Mackenzie and Chelsea Dunaway, as well as countless people who have been touched by Choloe’s story. A memorial visitation will beheld at the Hebron Campus of Lakeside Christian Church on Saturday, January 23, 2016 from 1:00 PM to 3:30 PM with a Memorial Funeral Service to follow at 3:30 PM. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to: www.gofundme.com/eyw6g9a or to Batten Disease Research (made in Sophia Crawford’s name) at www.bdsra.org/donate/.
