Donald Charles Yost, 87, raised in Ludlow and a life long resident of Villa Hills, KY passed away on Tuesday, April 3, 2018 surrounded by his loving family. Don was a loving husband, father, and grandfather, who proudly served our country in the United States Army during the Korean War. Mr. Yost was a retired maintenance worker for Federated Department Stores for 43 years. He spent his life in service to his family and his community, volunteering for many organizations including Fort Mitchell Baptist Church, Anchor Baptist Church, Summerfair, and delivered papers for the Voice of Villa Hills. He enjoyed spending time with his family, cheering on his beloved Bengals and Reds, and building many LEGO creations. In his last few years, he attended church at Crossroads Community Church in Florence and joined his family in their many local adventures and trips. His kind heart and gentle spirit will be dearly missed by all who knew him. He is survived by his loving daughter, Jennifer (Jim) Vaden of Villa Hills, KY and his two grandchildren, Jenna and Jacob. Visitation will be Friday, April 6, 2018 from 10am to 12pm at Crossroads Church in Florence, KY with funeral services to follow at 12pm. Entombment will be at Highland Cemetery in Ft. Mitchell, KY. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to Honor Flight (www.honorflight.org)
