Harry Makris, Beloved Husband of the late Anastasia Makris, passed away at age 91 Saturday September 4, 2010 at St. Elizabeth Hospital Ft. Thomas. Mr. Makris was a WWII Army Veteran where he was involved in the European and Pacific Theaters. He also served as school principal and school teacher at Holy Trinity St. Nicholas Greek Orthodox Church in Cincinnati, OH. He was also a member of AHEPA. Mr. Makris is survived by his Son Samuel Makris of Ft. Lauderdale, FL, Daughter Fran Kavouras of Covington, KY, Daughter Julie Schuler of Edgewood, KY, Daughter Maria Rosenbaum of Indian Hill, OH, 9 Grandchildren, 4 Great Grandchildren, and a Brother Steve Makris of Athens, Greece. A Visitation will be held Wednesday September 8, 2010 10am until 12 noon at Holy Trinity St. Nicholas Church in Cincinnati, OH. Services will begin at 12 noon at the church. Interment will be in St. John Cemetery Ft. Mitchell, KY immediately following the church services. Memorials can be sent to Holy Trinity St. Nicholas Church 7000 Winton Rd. Cincinnati, OH 45224-1331.
