Condolences

James “Jim” Harold Storer, 85 of Florence, Kentucky passed away on Monday, March 18, 2024, at his residence.

Jim was born in Covington, Kentucky on December 23, 1938, to the late Harold and Helen Storer. Jim enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, playing golf and tennis. Jim was a hard worker who built his career with the Kroger company for 45 years before his retirement.

Jim is survived by his loving wife of 63 years, Jean Storer, children, Missy Gaines (Frank), Chris Storer (Amy) and Dave Storer. He is also survived by 6 grandchildren (Jake, Carley, Rachael, Andrew, Sophie, and Ben) 3 great-grandchildren, brother, Richard Storer and sisters, Jeanie Osbourn and Kathy Storer.

In addition to his parents Jim is preceded in death by his granddaughter, Lauren Gaines, his brothers, Frank, Tom, and Jerry Storer, and sister, Helen Storer.

A memorial visitation will be held Friday, March 22, 2024, from 10:00am-11:30am at Linnemann Funeral Home, 1940 Burlington Pike, Burlington, KY 41005. Mass of Christian Burial will take place following the visitation at 12 noon at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church, 5876 Veterans Way, Burlington, KY, 41005. Burial will immediately follow at Highland Cemetery, 2167 Dixie Highway, Ft. Mitchell, KY, 41017.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in honor of Jim’s name to a charity of donor’s choice.
