A Loving and Wonderful Aunt

From the son’s (Bill, Dave and Jay) and families of Joan’s eldest brother Joe, we want to extend our deepest sympathies and love to the family and friends of our dear Aunt Joan. Though we all now live on the east and west coasts and have not seen the extended Bertsch family from Northern Kentucky in several years, we will cherish the fond memories of the many family reunions and get togethers and the good times with Joan and Stan. Yes, feisty she was but Joan could take it as well as give it and always in a fun and loving way. The Bertsch Boys from Philly will really miss her.

We will miss her

Joan was such a fun lady to be around. Always upbeat and always had a big smile for you. She will be truly missed God bless her and the family.

A dear friend

My sincere sympathy to Joan’s family. I played tennis with Joan for many years and can attest to her feisty competitive spirit. I have fond memories of our many tennis trips over the years and playing rummy cubes on a sunny day at the pool. I feel fortunate to have been her friend. She will be missed by all who knew her.

Her friend,
Rita Carpenter

Our deepest sympathy to Joan’s family

So sorry I (Mary) won’t be able to attend the celebration of her life. She was a very special woman and great Euchre player. She will be missed by the entire Sullivan family. She is with her heavenly Father and with so many others in Heaven. Love to Laura, Tracy & Mark.

Sympathy

Deepest sympathy to Laura, Tracy, Mark and families.
