Joan Parness, 85, of Crestview Hills, KY, passed away Saturday, May 28, 2016 at her residence. She was a retired bookkeeper and business owner. Joan is survived by her only sister, Marcia Morris of New York, NY, daughters, Amy (Bill) Schult of Edgewood, KY and Marla (Randy) Bruckner of East Northport, NY. She also leaves behind her grandchildren, Ted, Bill (Lindsay), Tim, Andrew, Jesse, Mark, Rick, great grandson, Will and very special friend, Laura and her children, Joel and Drayden. Her husband, Sol Parness and granddaughter, Linda, preceded her in death.
Memorial services will be held on Friday, June 3, 2016 at Highland Cemetery Chapel at 4pm with burial of ashes to follow. Memorial contributions are suggested to www.caringvoice.org.
