Condolences

Johnny E. Lewis, 80, passed away Wednesday July 13, 2022 at his residence in Union, KY. Johnny worked as a Gas Turbine Electrician in the Navy for over 20 years doing 3 tours in Vietnam and was involved in the Bay Pigs in Cuba. He also worked for the U.S. Post office for 14 years. Reading, gambling, traveling and gardening were a few of the things he enjoyed in life. There to meet him were his parents Addie and Nancy Lewis (nee Gilliam), brother Quinten Lewis, sister Grace Deronde, sister Alice Lewis, brother Edwin Lewis, sister Monnie Sloas, sister Irene Conley, brother Cecil Lewis, brother Larry “Bucky” Lewis, brother Michael Wayne Lewis, niece Charlotte Heimann, nephew Joey Heimann, nephew Neal Akers, nephew Lonnie Lewis, niece Louise Smith, mother and father in-law Mildred and Fred Lundeen, brother in-law Jay Lundeen. Survivors include his wife of 43 years Honey Lewis, son Mitchell Lewis, daughter Debra Lewis, grandchildren Benjamin and Amanda Fulks sister Janet Steele, sister in-laws Jean Lewis and Marcella Skaggs and sister in-law Patricia (Bill) Zehrung and brother in-law Bob Conley. Also surviving are numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. A memorial service will be held Saturday August 20, 2022 at 1pm at Newcombe Valley Church 100 Wooldridge Rd, Isonville, KY 41140.
