Our Lord sent her to us on October 6, 1985, in Springfield, Massachusetts. From an early age, Katy pursued classical ballet, Irish Step Dance, and piano, using the beautiful gifts and talents that God had given her. She choreographed a version of the Nativity/Nutcracker at Saint Patrick’s School, Carlisle, PA, at the age of nine. Katy graduated from Scott High School, Taylor Mill, KY, and then went on to study at Northern Kentucky University. Math was always her favorite subject, and it led her to work in bookkeeping and accounting in several independent companies. As a student of the Seiskaya Ballet, and then of Central Pennsylvania Youth Ballet, Katy performed in the Nutcracker at the Hershey Theatre and York Theatre, PA. She studied piano with private teachers and at Northern Kentucky University. She is survived by her beloved daughter, Dakota Elizabeth Cox, age 11, Dakota’s father, Nicholas Cox, parents, Stanley W Stevens, of Cameron, MO; BonnieAnn Stevens, of Trumbull, CT; siblings Colleen Kreyling and spouse Sean of Seattle, WA; Stanley Michael of Jacksonville, FL; Patrick spouse Danica of Ludlow, KY; Aubrey Muriel of Noblesville, IN.
