Condolences

Kay S. Wentzel, 85, of Union, KY passed away on Thursday, March 3, 2022 at her residence surrounded by her loving family. Kay was a retired Prothonotary Chief Clerk for Dauphin Co. in Harrisburg, PA. She was a past member with The Order of Eastern Star in PA and an active member at Hopeful Lutheran Church where she was active in the ladies bible study and quilting club. During her spare time, she was a Boone County Precinct Election Officer for Florence, KY and enjoyed spending time with family, going to the beach and traveling. Kay was born to the late, Paul and Helen (nee: Diffenbaugh) Siegrist. She was preceded in death by her son, Robert P. Wentzel and brother, Fred Siegrist. Kay is survived by her loving sons, Donald Wentzel of Union, KY and Timothy M. (Tammy) Wentzel of Carsonville, PA. She also leaves behind her daughter-in-law, Wendy Wentzel of Halifax, PA, sister-in-law, Elizabeth Brown of Cockeysville, MD, grandchildren, Taryn (Dennis) Morgan, Travis Wentzel, Nicholas (Starr) Wentzel, Tiffany (Josh) Watts, Eric Wentzel, Rachael Wentzel, Robb (Skyaira) Wentzel, and Lauren Wentzel, 13 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 19, 2022 from 1:00pm to 3:00pm at Hopeful Lutheran Church, 6430 Hopeful Church Rd., Florence, KY with services to follow at 3pm at the church. Interment will be at a later date at Riverview Cemetery, Lancaster, PA.
