Kenneth Joseph “Ken” Schreck , age 70, passed away at his residence on Monday January 22, 2018. He was a resident of Burlington, KY. Kenneth was a retired project manager for AT&T and in later years worked for The Zeiss Company. Ken will be remembered as a hard working, loving, c aring man and great neighbor who loved to mow grass for himself and others in his neighborhood. A son Keith preceded him in death. Survivors include his wife Kim Taylor Schreck; 3 daughters Karen Garlich (John), Kris Schreck and Kim Schreck as well as his son Kevin Schreck (Dema); a step daughter Kindra Stone and a step son Joshua Stone. Ken was grandpa to 6 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild. He also leaves behind his best friend, Sunshine the cat. Visitation will be 11am- 12 noon Friday January 26th, at Linnemann Funeral Home, Burlington. The funeral service will follow at 12noon. Burial will be in Mother of God Cemetery. Touched so many
Ken will be missed by so many here at zeiss. He was always so thoughtful and caring. He did so much for my daughter just to make her smile. Loved working with him at zeiss he will be missed deeply my thoughts and prayers are with the family and friends

I am so sorry to hear about your dad’s passing. What a great guy he was! I will always be thankful for him helping me coach one of the greatest groups of girls that ever played basketball for Saint Augustine. He surely will be missed.

Kim and family, we are very sorry to hear of Ken’s passing. Our thoughts and prayers are for all of you during this very difficult time. We have been very fortunate to have your family as neighbors for the last 10 years. If Ken were the only neighbor for everyone in this world, that would have made Ken the one and only person in this world that could have a complaint about his neighbor. His smile, warm hello in the driveway or yard, kind words of support when our favorite sports teams lost and offer to help with anything and everything will be greatly missed.
