FLORENCE, KY – Michael E. Apgar, 63, passed away at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Florence, KY. He was exceptionally active in the Northern Kentucky community as well as retired from both Cincinnati Bell and Sanitation District one, where he was the director of Governmental Affairs. He is preceded in death by his father Gene M. Apgar. He will be dearly missed by his wife of 41 years, Jeanne Apgar (Duell) of Florence, KY; his sons: Casey Apgar (Jamie) of Erlanger, KY and Jacob Apgar (Ana) of Owensboro, KY; his daughter Andrea Padgett (Mike) of Ft.Thomas, KY; grandchildren: Alexandrea, Haven, Quinn, and Layla, his mother Helen Patricia (Boles), his sisters: Susane Seay (Lenny) of White Stone, VA, Tana Housh (John) of Sardinia, OH, and Lisa Gilkilson (Tom) of Batavia, OH and his brother Pete Apgar (Robin) of Owensville, OH. Visitation will be held at Linnemann Family Funeral Home in Burlington, KY on Thursday, June 28, 2012 from 4 PM to 8 PM. Mass of Christian burial will be held at Mary Queen of Heaven Catholic Church, 1150 Donaldson Highway KY 41018 on Friday, June 29, 2012 at 10 AM with burial to follow at St Stephen Cemetery in Ft. Thomas, KY
