Myrtle Francis Hensley (nee: Snelling), 105, entered eternal life at her residence in Petersburg, KY on Friday, January 8, 2016. She was a devout member of Burlington Baptist Church and a Solid Rocker Choir member. She was preceded in death by her husband Richard (Dick) Hensley, daughter Dorothy Hensley Black Scudder; siblings: Edward, Howard, Albert and John Snelling, Marie Snelling, Loretta Aylor, and Virginia Glenn. Myrtle will be dearly missed by her brother Frank Snelling: grandchildren: Dwight T. Black (Cathy), Donna J. Scudder (Kenny), Darryl J. Black (Tami), Daymon T. Black (Lisa), Derek A. Black (LaShay), Ricky Freeman (Leticia); great-grandchildren: Karen, Brandon, Jonathan, Lauren, Danille, Tieler, Heather, and Candice; and great-great-grandchildren: Dean, Claire, Aaron, Kendall, Caroline, Coleman, Arlissa, Tea and Anderson (pending); great-great-great grandchildren: Lyjah and Lasiah. Visitation will be held at Linnemann Funeral Home and Event Center in Burlington, KY on Tuesday, January 12, 2016 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM with service to follow at 1:00 PM and burial at Petersburg Cemetery. Family will welcome guests after the burial at the Burlington Baptist Activity Center.
