Ralph “Bud” Scheitz 92, of Erlanger, died Wednesday November 16, 2016 at Providence Pavilion in Covington, KY. He served in the United States Navy during WW II in the Pacific-Asiatic Theater. He worked as an engineer for Vogt, Ivers, Seaman and Associates and the Kentucky State Highway Department. He served as class president of Covington Catholic High School in 1942. He also served as a Boy Scout leader. He was a Kentucky Colonel. He was a founding member of Mary Queen of Heaven Church. He was preceded in death by his wife Mary Margaret Scheitz in 2005. He is survived by daughters Beth (Tony) Garascia of South Bend, IN; Becky Scheitz of Florence, KY; Clair (Mike) Breetz of Ryland, KY; son Tom (Mary) Scheitz of Florence, KY; sister Shirley(Stan) Schulte of Erlanger, KY; 16 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren. Visitation will be Monday, November 21, 2016 from 9-10 a.m. with Funeral Mass to follow at 10 a.m. all at Mary Queen of Heaven Church, 1130 Donaldson Highway, Erlanger, KY: Entombment of cremains will be Tuesday November 22, 2016 at 10.a.m. at St. John Cemetery Ft.
