Tributes
Rita L. Robisch, 92, passed away on Saturday, February 23, 2013. She was the last surviving daughter of the twelve children of John E. and Mary (Madden) Schreck. For many years she worked in the Schreck family grocery on Patton St., and as a sales clerk for the J.C. Penney store in downtown Covington. She was preceded in death by her husband Raymond to whom she was married for over fifty years, and her first husband, Sgt. Victor E. Budke, who was killed in France in WWII; and several brothers and sisters. She leaves nine nieces and nephews including Mrs. Patricia Dopp and Mrs. Kathleen Barton, who were especially caring to her in her last years. A long time member of St. Benedict Parish, she along with her husband, were recipients in 2009 of the “Ora et Labora” Award for faithful and committed service to the church. Visitation will be on Thursday February 28th, 2013 from 10-11 at St. Benedict’s Catholic Church 338 E 17th St. Covington, KY 41014. Mass of Christian burial will occur at 11:00AM at the Church. Entombment will follow mass at Mother of God Cemetery in Latonia. Memorial Contributions to St. Benedict’s Catholic Church 338 E 17th St. Covington, KY 41014.
