Condolences

Robert (Bob) Bilz, 81 of Crestview Hills, died peacefully on March 2nd. Born in 1936 to George and Agnes Bilz, Bob grew up in the Northern Kentucky area, he graduated from St. Henry High School where Bob met his future wife Rose. They were married April 19, 1958 and had five wonderful children together. Bob began as a carpenter with Gateway Concrete Forming Services at the age of 25 and retired as President at age 70. He enjoyed family time, the Cincinnati Reds and especially “the ponies”. Bob is preceded in death by his parents; and sister, Sue Sanders. He will be remembered in the hearts of those who survive him, beloved wife, Rose; children, Cheryl (Eric) Mohr, Kurt Bilz, Brian (Jennifer) Bilz, Lee (Tammy) Bilz, and Sandy (Mark) Powers; grandchildren, Shane, Audra, Nick, Ellie, Aaron, Allie, Jenna, Chris, Sarah, Noah, Logan and Drew; great-grandchildren, Jack, Nora, Cade and Rosalie, and sisters, Marilyn Franxman, Joan Merten, Pat Blau, Elaine West, Pam Walsh and Karen Schnelle. A visitation will be held on Tuesday, March 6 at St. Henry Church in Erlanger from 5PM – 6PM with a Memorial Mass to follow. In lieu of flowers please consider making a donation in Bob’s name to the ALS Association at 1275 K Street NW, Suite 250 Washington, DC 2000, Blugrass Care Navigators at 2312 Alexandria Dr, Lexington, KY 40504 or to St. Henry Parish Church at 3813 Dixie Hwy, Elsmere, KY 41018
