Tributes
Robert “Bob” Elkins, age 89 of Northern Kentucky sadly passed away on April 27, 2022. He was born to the late George and Allie Elkins on August 15, 1932 in West Virginia. Following high school, Robert served in the United States Navy from 1951 until 1954.
He later went on to be an actor in local theater, television, and major films including “Coal Miner’s Daughter”. He was also a writer, and acting coach for many in the Greater Cincinnati area. Robert was a great father and grandfather who loved being with his family.
Robert is preceded in death by his sister, Mabel Iseley.
He leaves behind his loving children; Steve (Maria) Elkins, Sheri (Paul) Jackson, Karen Lowe, and Brian (Janet) Elkins, his sister, Imogene Walters, 10 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren, and a niece and nephew.
Bob Elkins, Memorial Service/Celebration of Life will held May 10th from 5pm to 8pm at the Village Players of Fort Thomas , 8 N Ft Thomas Ave, Ft Thomas, KY 41075. There is a ramp at the front door – anyone needing ramp access should be dropped off at the front door. There is street parking, a large parking lot behind the building, and at the bank next door after 5pm.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made out to the Parkinson’s Foundation or the Village Players of Fort Thomas.
