Silas Ashley Jr., 84, of Union, Kentucky passed away on May 2, 2016. Silas was a long time member of Union Baptist Church and a 35 year employee of Ford Motor Company. Silas was preceded in death by his brothers Linden Ashley and Avery Ashley. Silas is survived by his loving wife of 22 years; Sandra Ashley, his daughter; Tonya (Billy) Apking, step-daughter; Theresa (Charles) Swope, step-son; Dr. Donald (Julie) DeCarlo Jr, step-daughter; Vickie (Nathan) Rogers, sister; Shelby Mullins, brother; Johnny (Betty) Ashley, sister-in-law; Ingrid Ryan, 13 grandchildren, and 7 great-grandchildren. A visitation will be held on Friday, May 6, 2016 from 5pm – 8pm at Union Baptist Church in Union, Kentucky. A service will be held on Saturday, May 7th, 2016 at 1pm at Union Baptist Church. Silas will be laid to rest at Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Erlanger, Kentucky.
