Holy Cross High School

Sister Marianne’s kindness and focus on learning was an aspect of a life experience that gave cause for aspiration.

Rest in Peace, Sr. Marianna.

Sr. Marianna was always such a kind, friendly person. When my daughter, Jennie Cole, was in high school at VMA, we parents had to work the Bingo. Sr. Marianna was helpful and friendly and encouraging during those long evenings! She always said that she and I were related, but I never knew how. My father was Ralph Heile, and I noticed in the obituary that her mother was Mary Angela Heile Kirk. So, I guess that was our connection! After such a wonderful, truly good life, I know that Sr. Marianna will definitely “rest in peace.”
Mary Margaret (Heile) Cole
