Thelma Hildegarde Shinkle, 89, of Edgewood, KY passed away on Wednesday, December 16, 2015, at her residence. Hildegarde retired from teaching at Goodridge Elementary and in the Boone County School System. She was a longtime member of Lakeside Christian Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Al Shinkle, and her sons, Don and Tim Shinkle. Hildegard is survived by her grandsons, Scott Shinkle and Mark Fox; and sister-in-law, Marie Burgess. She also leaves behind 5 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be on Friday December 18, 2015 from 10:00AM-11:30AM at Lakeside Christian Church in Ft. Mitchell. A funeral service will follow the visitation at 11:30AM at the church. Burial will be at Forest Lawn Memorial Park. Memorial contributions to: Lakeside Christian Church 195 Buttermilk Pike Ft.
