Tributes
Thomas H. Mistler, 86, of Edgewood, died Tuesday, July 30th, 2013, at Baptist Village Care Center. He was a Postal Clerk for the U.S. Post Office in Cincinnati for 36 years. He also served as a Seaman First Class in the U.S. Navy during World War II. He was a member of the American Rose Society, the Greater Cincinnati Rose Association, and the Louisville Rose Society. He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Caroline Mistler; his sisters, Mary Jane Quigley, Ruth Feighery, and Thelma Lux; and his grandson, Andrew Mistler. Survivors include his wife, Helen Mistler of Edgewood; his daughters, Judith (Paul) Westerman, Jeanne Buring, and Amy Mistler; and his sons, John (Debby) Mistler, Greg (Michele) Mistler, and Thomas (Jackie) Mistler. He also leaves behind his 14 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. Visitation will be on Saturday August 3rd at St. Pius X Church in Edgewood from 10AM-12PM. Mass of Christian Burial will follow visitation at 12:00PM. Burial at St. Mary’s Cemetery following mass. Memorials may be made to Andrew Mistler Foundation 2700 Pineview Dr. Villa Hills, KY 41017.
