Tributes
Lindsay “Todd” Cardwell, 60, of Erlanger KY, passed away peacefully with his family and friends by his side at his residence, on Sunday September 25, 2022. He was born in Covington, KY on July 18, 1962, to the late Lindsay and Mayme nee Rogers.
Todd grew up in Erlanger, KY and was a 1980 graduate of Lloyd High School. He enjoyed playing cards and riding his motorcycle, especially on trips out west. Todd loved sports and watching his UK Wildcats. He had a great sense of humor always making people laugh. When it came to his political views and pro-life stance, Todd’s belief system was unwavering. Todd’s pride and joy were his two sons, Todd Jr., and Dylan. He loved them beyond measure and was always so proud of them. Todd, Jr., Dylan, and his only grandchild, Ryder were his life. Although Todd enjoyed many things, his greatest accomplishment and desire in life was his family. He was a selfless man who would do anything for his family. He was a father, grandfather, brother and friend. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
Those left to carry on Todd’s legacy are his two sons, Lindsay Todd Cardwell Jr., and Dylan Michael Cardwell; grandson, Ryder Lee Young; sisters, Dixie (Mike) Cochran, Laura Cardwell; brother, Greg Cardwell; brother-in-law, Jerry Sears; his favorite niece, Holly Sipple; favorite nephew, Kevin Sears and many other nieces, nephews, and friends. Todd also leaves behind his best friend and black Labrador Retriever, Buddy.
Todd is preceded in death by his parents and one sister, Candice Sears.
A gathering of friends and family to celebrate Todd’s life will be on Saturday, October 8, 2022, at Linnemann Funeral Home 30 Commonwealth Ave Erlanger, KY 41018 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM with a memorial service immediately following at 12:00 PM.
